Whitebeam Chalets is a family ski company. Run by husband and wife team, Sarah and Matt, the company’s independent ski chalets are based in Peisey-Vallandry near Les Arcs.
They are sure to understand your needs, when on a family ski holiday, because they are a family unit themselves. Sarah and Matt have two young children, a boy and a girl, and two dogs.
All of them love being in Peisey-Vallandry for the snow and skiing! The children even snowboard.
“We love to share the mountains, snow and wonderful food with our guests.”
After 10 years of hard work and dedication Sarah and Matt now run three catered chalets in the Peisey-Vallandry area, under the Whitebeam brand.
Family ski company, the personal experience
As an independent, family ski company we make sure we provide a personal touch.
Our knowledge on children’s entertainment and baby sitting will help make things run smoothly.
What does Whitebeam mean?
‘Whitebeam’ is a type of rosaceae tree, related to the rowans. Whitebeams have white flowers that symbolise safe keeping.
Each berry of the tree has a five pointed star at the base; an ancient symbol of protection.
Whitebeam Chalets represents the whitebeam tree: a safe haven for you, family and friends to enjoy a special mountain holiday.
How did Whitebeam Chalets begin?
Matt and Sarah left their busy UK lives in Retail HR and Leisure to start a new adventure, with a tour of Europe in their Volkswagen camper van.
After visiting many countries and having no end of experiences, their trip ended when they fell in love with the Peisey-Vallandry area.
You may still see the camper van around Peisey village, but Sarah and Matt have upgraded to a full working kitchen!
