Parapente in Peisey-Vallandry
Parapente is the french word used for hand gliding, which can be done in tandem with a professional in Peisey-Vallandry. With spectacular views, and sometimes a sighting of a Royal Eagle or Bearded Vulture.
In winter take off and landing is done wearing skis or a snowboard. Both young and old can do it, but you must be able to land with your skis/board on.
Children can be taken on calmer flights to about 800m from the foot of the slopes. Adults can be taken to an altitude of 3000m or more.

Ice climbing at Champagny le Haut, La Plagne
An introduction to ice climbing or advanced instruction on an artificial ice tower 22 metres high.
This is the only one of its kind in Europe. Located at the doors of the Vanoise National Park.

Over 26 routes for beginners (12yrs & over), intermediate climbers and professionals alike.
For experienced climbers: daily sessions – €6.50 per session.
