What is the location of Peisey-Vallandry?
Peisey-Vallandry encompasses 5 Savoie villages that cultivate the Alpine way of life. Perched at an altitude from 1,300 metres, it is surrounded by forest and is on the sunniest face of the Les Arcs massif.
Peisey-Vallandry is linked to Les Arcs and La Plagne via a network of lifts.
The village of Peisey
Peisey village is one of a few traditional villages within Peisey-Vallandry with its own bakery and cheese shop working along side the local hotel and bar.
Peisey is a peaceful village for a family ski holiday.
Being in Peisey village makes La Plagne and Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry ski areas very accessible. The Lozange ski lift (lobster pots) takes you from the village to the bottom of the Plan Peisey ski lift, just next to the Vanoise Express.
The village of Nancroix
Nancroix is situated on the edge of the beautiful Vanoise National Park. Nancroix hosts it’s own Nordic ski centre. There are sleigh-rides, dog sledding or snow shoeing in this area during the winter season.
The ski lifts, and the villages of Peisey and Plan Peisey are accessible from Nancroix by a free shuttle bus, which runs all day and twice in the evening.

Our suggested travel options to reach the Tarentaise Valley:
- Fly direct to one of the local airports then take a private transfer or hire a car from the airport.
- Drive to Peisey-Vallandry in the comfort of your own car.
- Jump on the train in London and wake up in Bourg-St-Maurice.
It is important that you and your family are comfortable and happy when travelling long distances.
